Our downspouts are extra-large: 3”x4”. They’re made to handle the heaviest of rainfalls. In fact, in a simulated laboratory test, they were able to handle 32 inches of rainwater per hour. For reference, the heaviest rainfall day on record for Cincinnati was March 9, 1964, when 5.21 inches of rain fell in a single day.
